Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy Post-Professional Residency Program
The mission of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) Residency in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy is to mentor the professional development and advanced clinical training of cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapists. Clinical Psychology Internship Program
The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System offers an intensive clinical psychology internship program in a hospital setting with inpatient, outpatient and rehabilitation services. The program provides a unique opportunity to work with male and female veterans experiencing a wide range of physical, emotional and interpersonal problems, while receiving careful supervision from highly-skilled staff. The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System offers a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) in Dentistry. The GPR dental program is fully accredited by the American Dental Association and is affiliated with the University of Michigan Hospital and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Post-doctoral Fellowship Program
The Advanced Post-doctoral Fellowship Program at the VA Serious Mental Illness Treatment Resource and Evaluation Center (SMITREC) is a two-year National Fellowship affiliated with the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, in close collaboration with the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry. Fellows in the training program devote 50-75% of their time to research and the development of products to enhance clinical service delivery, with the remaining 25-50% devoted to direct and indirect service delivery to Veteran patients. The program goals are to provide mentored experiences in research design and implementation, publication of research reports, grant writing, and the development of areas of specialty clinical practice.
