Volunteer attorneys are available to answer legal questions for veterans. Walk-ins only, no prior registration is required. Please note that attorneys are available to answer questions only, they are not available to provide legal representation.

Whole Health Orientation Class

All Veterans, family members, service members, and staff are invited to attend "Introduction to Whole Health" which is a 2-hour class facilitated by Veteran staff peers that will be held at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center in the T9 Modular Building-Room 119 located outside the VA Auditorium (just go to the basement level of the Liberty Building and follow signs to Human Resources).

Whole Health is a different way to approach health care and encourages people to ask why it is important for you to be healthy. This approach to health care is focused on you as a WHOLE person. We want you to have the skills and the tools you need to communicate with your health care team what you need to achieve your best possible health. VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System is committed to partnering with you on the journey to Whole Health. Living life fully and optimizing health and well-being goes beyond not being sick; it means understanding what matters to you and looking at all aspects in life that contribute to a sense of well-being.

No registration or referrals are required. Just pick one of the classes being offered to attend. Drop-ins are welcome!

In honoring our commitment to Veterans and their families, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System is joining with community partners to host the 2018 VA-Community Mental Health Summit on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center auditorium (located on the basement level of the Liberty Building). This year’s event will focus on Veteran Courts and VA care options targeting substance use treatments, medication assisted therapies, clinical manifestations of trauma, and suicide prevention. Also included are panel discussions from Veteran Court professionals and community organizations, and much more. This event will provide education, resources, and networking opportunities for those in attendance. We hope you can join us! **This event is free to the public. Veterans and their families who wish to learn more about Veteran Courts or VA care are encouraged to attend and participate!
