All medications (pills, capsules, and patches) will be accepted. This will be an opportunity for you to clean out your medicine cabinets and closets to safely dispose of expired, unwanted or unused medications and to learn about the VA Medication Safes available for year-round medication disposal. Please note that needles, syringes, lancets, and liquids are NOT accepted. Proper disposal of medications helps to: keep you from accidentally taking wrong medication or a medicine that is too old to work; protects children and pet from accidental poisoning; and reduces chances for overdose, and misuse or abuse of prescription drugs.
