Are you a Caregiver? If you are, we know you are busy and may find it hard to juggle caregiving tasks, along with the day-to-day responsibilities of life. Whether you are new to using mobile devices and websites or use them every day, this course has information and resources for you. The course is designed to provide you with online applications, tools, and tips to help you coordinate the many aspects of caregiving, including taking care of yourself and your family.
 
The Caregiver Support Program invites Caregivers of Veterans who receive care from VA and Veterans who are Caregivers to attend this free class. The class is 3 hours, and is taught by a Memphis Caregiver Center Trainer. Registered participants will receive a Utilizing Technology Workbook to take home.

Are you a Caregiver? Would you like to learn how to solve a problem you are facing? Or improve the way you communicate with the Veteran you care for and other important people in your life? The Caregiver Support Program invites Caregivers of Veterans who receive care from VA and Veterans who are Caregivers to attend this free program. Talk with your Caregiver Support Coordinator (CSC) to learn more and register to attend.
 
This 3-hour course will be taught by a Memphis Caregiver Center Trainer, and it will include lecture, small group discussion, and time for personal planning. Everyone will receive a Problem Solving and Effective Communications Workbook to take home.

Free Legal Clinic for Michigan and Ohio Veterans

A free legal clinic offering assistance with Living Wills, Simple Wills, or Durable Powers of Attorney for HealthCare, for Michigan and Ohio Veterans, is being offered at the VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic this Friday, November 17th from 9am-12pm. Attorneys and paralegals will be available to help prepare the documents (please note that information for the simple wills will be collected during the clinic and prepared after the clinic; follow-up will be arranged as a appropriate for execution of the documents). Veterans must bring a VA or State Veteran ID card or a copy of their DD214 with a photo ID. Please check-in at the 2nd floor conference room at the clinic located at 1200 S. Detroit Ave. Toledo, OH 43614. This event is being offered in partnership with Operation Legal Help Ohio, Paralegal Association of Northwest Ohio, and Toledo Bar Association.
