 A Free Legal Clinic is offered to Veterans (who are Ohio residents) on the 1st Thursday of each month at the VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 2nd floor conference room. Volunteer attorneys from Ohio are available to answer legal questions for veterans. Walk-in only, no prior registration is required. Questions? Whole Health Orientation Class @ Toledo CBOC
 
Time: 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM (EST)
Location: VA Toled Community Based Outpatient Clinic (1200 South Detroit Ave. Toledo, OH 43614)
 
All Veterans, family members, service members, and staff are invited to attend "Introduction to Whole Health" which is a 2-hour class facilitated by Veteran staff peers that will be held at the VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Room 640-1 as follows:

**2nd Tuesday of each month from 10am-12pm 
**4th Tuesday of each month from 1pm-3pm 

Whole Health is a different way to approach health care and encourages people to ask why it is important for you to be healthy. This approach to health care is focused on you as a WHOLE person. We want you to have the skills and the tools you need to communicate with your health care team what you need to achieve your best possible health. VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System is committed to partnering with you on the journey to Whole Health. Living life fully and optimizing health and well-being goes beyond not being sick; it means understanding what matters to you and looking at all aspects in life that contribute to a sense of well-being.

No registration or referrals are required. Just pick one of the classes being offered to attend. Drop-ins are welcome!

The event will feature informational tables, chair massages, battlefield acupuncture, yoga, energy work, cooking demonstrations, and other complementary therapies.

All Veterans (from any era of service) receiving care at VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System are invited to attend a Warrior to Soul Mate Workshop along with their partner (spouse, significant other, etc.) or caregiver (friend, family member, etc.).

Learn ways to communicate better with your partner or caregiver by using communication techniques including: active listening, non-verbal cues, using appropriate tone and voice, sharing, closeness, summarizing, feedback, and much more! This is a FREE 2-day workshop that will be offered at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center on Friday afternoon/evening for 3.5 hours (5:30pm-9pm) and will continue the following day on Saturday for 9 hours (8:30am-5:30pm).
